"I'm a little confused, if we sold our property, we can still get money from
LRA? Can anyone shed light on this? --Dianne"

Diane, the Road home website states this in a sample question:

"What happens if the homeowner has already sold their home?
Homeowners who have sold the home that they owned and lived in at the time
of the storm are eligible to apply, but their applications will not be
processed until the program can determine if there is enough funding to
serve them."

**Thus it appears if "there's any money left over". One one hand many will
get less than they thought, so why wouldn't they have tons of money left
over. On the other hand, if there are many calculations, policy changes as
time develops, etc. why wouldn't more good folks get more good money?<G>

I would never assume that I wouldn't get "anything/nothing" so, I too would
advise everyone to go for the money whether they'll be anything left over,
or if there's a chance that there can be some sort of settlement. My
daughter and her husband is one who sold their $140,000 home for $17,000
feeling they wanted to get away from the stress, move one, whatever. Some
would say, "never say never" however.
