meeting I can show them another example of the travesty of a program this
is.

Anyone out there from Carolyn Park that received their LRA award letter yet?
If so, have you started appeals process?  Would like your experience with
that so far.
 
According to LRA, my home (approx 1900 sq ft living) came in at Pre Katrina
price of $115,000,.  I know I could have sold it prior to Katrina for
$140,000.  Since I received $123,000 from flood, I get zero from LRA,
because they say I was over-insured.  What a joke. 
 
 However, LRA also estimates my rebuilding cost at $273,000.  My home is
already torn down and I have already relocated within Louisiana.  LRA really
does not want people to return.  I'll appeal and continue to jump through
the endless hoops that many of us having been jumping through for the last
16 months, but I gotta tell y'all, I'm sure getting tired of the jumping.
 
Also, LRA letter states I do qualfy for an Affordable Compensation Loan,
since I have not been employed since Katrina, but no where in my 14 page LRA
letter does it tell me how to proceed with that.  Anybody know?
