[StBernard] Governor Blanco seeks federal investigation into distribution of federal recovery funds

Originally, the feds were worried that any money given to the State of
Louisiana for those who suffered tremendous loss during Hurricane Katrina,
would not make it to the poor souls it to whom it was intended----Those in
Louisiana who are in charge of the funds are making the feds look
clairvoyant. Misissippi handed the money to those who needed it and is way
ahead of Louisiana---more than 50% of applications have been filled.
Exactly where is Louisiana in all this? They've given claims to less than
1% of applicants and have reduced the amounts to a pittance of what they
should be getting.
