I like the earlier comment about Walter becoming Jindal's senate president.
Mitch Landrieu has a good stronghold on that office and he is extremely well
financed against any potential challenger, and will be difficult to defeat.
Besides, the senate president is considered by all in state government as
the most powerful position after the governor.  Maybe Walter could serve
four years as senate president then run for an open Lt. Governor seat in
2011.  Then he'll be ready in 2015 when Jindal's finished his second term -
unless Jindal runs for the U.S. Senate and wins during his second term.
That would elevate the Lt. Governor to Governor to finish out the term.
