	I doubt any of us knew that our parish was
	definitely under a tornado warning at 3am while we slept, 

Well, I did, but only because I am an early riser, real early, and hubby
keeps the tv on all night. 
So that is not the norm.
The siren thing sounds like a great idea, but will it reach over all
possibly affected areas? 
How far can one hear it? 
You make me think that investing in one of those weather radios which go off
with alarms, might be a good thing.
