I'm talking to my insurer about ICC money to demolish my house -- or at
least pick up the 10% that FEMA won't pay for.  They say that my last
elevation certificate, 14 years ago, shows me right at compliance (flood
elevation levels) so I don't qualify for ICC funds.  The guy on the phone
said that he was fairly sure that there has been at least a couple of inches
of subsidence in that area in the last 14 years and that if I got a new
elevation certificate I would probably be a couple of inches lower and
comply.  I'd prefer to use someone in St. B. to do this; does anyone know if
there is a surveyor in the Parish who can do an elevation certificate?
