Taxpayers can file Federal Form 8914, Exemption Amount for Taxpayers Housing
Individuals Displaced by Katrina for whom you provided housing for at least
60 consecutive days without receiving any rent from the person/persons.
Exemption of $500 per person not to exceed $2000. Check with your tax
adviser to see if you qualify.
