State Senator Walter Boasso says that he is thinking of switching parties,
but he will not do it by the weekend as some had thought. Lt. Gov. Mitch
Landrieu believes that the State Senator will be welcomed.

"I don't think people care which party governs. They just want good
government," the State Senator said, but refused to definitely answer the
question of whether or not he would become a Democrat.

*****WHAT?? If people didn't care there wouldn't be a Democratic, Republican
and Independent affiliation by folks who love their variety and choice in
America as to which identity they so choose.

If one wants to think "neutralized", then they might choose to vote or run
as "Independent" (which Boasso might believe splits the best of the Good,
the Bad and the Ugly <G>.) If they are disappointed with any of the above
affiliation (ignore the fact that there is a socialist, earth party,
communist and "vote for Raymond Brown, if you want to see New Orleans "Back
in Black" <G> (Of course, there's the spoil sporter who would purposely vote
for the "Reverend" Raymond simply because he/she's tired of the same
hum-drumming and wants a good laugh by being poured from the bottom of the
barrel).

There ARE choices. Walter is not in any sense of the word, STUPID. He's
bright and has the St. Bernard "articulation" known to anyone in America
<G>. He and his advisors will choose the "changeover" party that gathers the
most moss as his rolling stone commences down the Gubernatorial hill.

He's not a "deserter of the Republican party as much as he's playing out his
options, dragging along his network of political comrades. However, all
voters should consider he's "game" for the Republican ideals but would love
a romp in the democratic bed for their support.

Yes, they want good government, with high ethics/morals (yes, I said morals
because good ethics lay on a foundation of doing the right thing, <and just
NOT getting caught is at judgment), accountable to the voters for
platform/promises and finish his term with successful, productive, and
effective governing. A clean campaign while sticking to the issues vs. his
opponent is crucial to how he's portrayed by the populace.

Isn't it going to be interesting to see him butt heads with Mr. Jindal?
Whew!!!

Good old Walter. Hopefully, he's as genuine as his speech writer during a
run for the highest position in our state. <G>>.
