MONDAY: Town Hall Meeting in Metairie to Present Regional Plan

Metairie, LA (May 4, 2007)-- The Louisiana Recovery Authority will hold a Town Hall meeting in Jefferson Parish on Monday, May 7th to present the Louisiana Speaks Regional Plan. This meeting, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Napoleon Room B of the East Bank Regional Library at 6:00 pm.

The Louisiana Speaks Regional Plan has been developed over the last 18 months using scenario planning, world class computer modeling and technical analysis, and extensive public input from tens of thousands of citizens and stakeholders. The presentation of this final plan is the culmination of all the LRA and Louisiana Speaks' previous planning initiatives.
