Mental Health Program Update


Access to Care is a Red Cross program that provides financial assistance for
mental health services for residents who lived in the region prior to
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The benefit allows for up to $2,000 per person
(increased from $1,000 and retroactive to August 30, 2005) for services such
as evaluation, counseling, and medication. Find out more about this program
