Naked Peeping Tom Is Back, Covington Police Say

COVINGTON, La. - After an eight-month lull, police said Covington's peeping
tom is back. According to a news release, "several calls over the weekend
seem to indicate the same person has returned to their nocturnal prowls." 

Police said witnesses have told them that the man is dressed in a ski mask
-- and nothing else. 

One of the problems officers have had investigating the case is that many
residents laugh at the man and don't report him. 

Authorities said peeping toms "eventually become more and more aggressive,
leading up to a physical attack." 

The culprit is working in an area bordered by South Jefferson and Jahncke
Avenue, from 20th Avenue to as far away as 8th Avenue, investigators said. 

He's been making sexual comments to people, police said.
