I had a contractor build my home, and he used a local licensed plumber.
Right  before we moved in last month and after our final plumbing
inspection, WE found that one toilet was not flushing (needed adjustment in
the tank) and all the hot water/cold water lines were backwards. This tells
me that the parish inspector didn't even turn on a cold water faucet or
flush a toilet. So what are the parish inspectors checking? So much for
protecting a homeowner's safety. Even the toilets were flushing hot water!
