The Road Home will present an Information Session at Chalmette High School

NEW ORLEANS, LA, June 7, 2007 - In a collaborative effort with Wayne Warner,
Principal of Chalmette High School and Daniel Bourgeois, Director of St.
Bernard Economic Development Commission, The Road Home will present an
information session to address eligibility for The Road Home homeowner and
rental programs at Chalmette High School on June 14 beginning at 6:30 PM.
The session will begin with a presentation on Round 2 of the Small Rental
Property Program followed by updates on the Homeowner Program. This session
is free and open to the public.

Persons may apply for Round 2 of the Small Rental Property Program online.
The school will have available for the community's use, the computer
laboratory from 4:30 - 7 PM  on June 18, 19, 21, 25, 26 and 28; and on
Saturday, June 23 from 9AM to 12 PM.

The Road Home program is designed to help residents of Louisiana affected by
Hurricane Katrina or Rita get back into their homes.  This groundbreaking
program represents the largest single housing recovery program in U.S.
history. Working together, Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco, the Louisiana
Recovery Authority and the Office of Community Development created The Road
Home program with the approval of the Louisiana Legislature.
