the slab removal issue has been a topic that we have not been able to find a funding source for and FEMA has rejected the idea that it should be part of the demolition.
 
Many slabs can be removed through ICC funds, especially now that the Advisory Base Flood Elevations have been adopted.

Has any entity been announced (without cost) who will remove the slab along
with the home demolition? What good is demolition having left a damaged
slab? My home was demolished, but they left the slab.  mj
