Dear Interested Stakeholder:

The "Draft Final Mississippi River Gulf Outlet Deep-De-authorization
(MRGO-3D) Report and draft Legislative Environmental Impact Statement"
are
complete and is now available online at
http://mrgo.usace.army.mil/default.aspx?p=MRGO.  

Later this week, a notice will go into the Federal Register, announcing
the
opening of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)-required
45-day
public comment period.  During this time, you are encouraged to review
the
report and provide comments.  These comments, which can also be
submitted
through the same Web site, will be taken into consideration by the
Corps in
the final report due to Congress in December.   

In addition, you may also view the Louisiana Coastal Protection
Restoration
(LACPR) Plan Formulation Atlas, the Risk Informed Decision Framework,
and the
Stage Frequency Statistics/Probability Analysis (JPM-OS) at
http://www.lacpr.usace.army.mil/.  These are key pieces of planning
information for the LACPR effort; the MRGO-3D plan is an important part
of
the larger efforts of recovery, hurricane protection and coastal
restoration
in south Louisiana.
