Saturday, August 4 at the fourth annual Great American Seafood Cook-Off

to coast will compete featuring domestic, sustainable seafood.

There are nineteen competitors and room for one more: Alabama, Alaska,
California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Louisiana,
Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, NOAA, North Carolina,
Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, and Wyoming.

The Louisiana Seafood Promotion & Marketing Board is staging the
extravaganza in New Orleans within the Louisiana Foodservice Expo

door.


THE INAUGURAL LOUISIANA ALLIGATOR SOIRÉE


On Monday, August 7, the elegant alligator takes the stage at the Convention
Center as Louisiana culinary schools compete in an Iron Chef-like contest
preparing - you guessed it -- Louisiana alligator. The Monday event is also
open to the public. Tickets will be sold at the event door.
