Four booked in St. Bernard drug case

Four men have been arrested in connection with an undercover drug buy in St.
Bernard Parish, authorities said. 


The four were inside a vehicle stopped by the Sheriff's Office narcotics
unit on Paris Road. Undercover agents had made arrangements with one of the
men in the vehicle to purchase around $500 worth of heroin, a Sheriff's
Office news release said. 

Arrested were Julius Banks, 27, 11030 Harrow Blvd., New Orleans; Chadd
Brock, 22, 3812 S. Deerwood, Harvey; Nicolas Williams, 27, 852 Joe Yenni
Blvd., No. 18, Kenner; and Kevin G. Wilkerson, 27, 8633 Curran Blvd., New
Orleans. 

Agents had arranged for Banks to deliver 10 doses of heroin to them in St.
Bernard Parish, the news release said. 

A search of the vehicle turned up three bags of marijuana worth $80 and a
loaded .40-caliber handgun. Brock also had a .40-caliber handgun in his
front pocket, the release said. 

All four men were booked with conspiracy to distribute heroin, possession
with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm during the
commission of a crime. Brock was also booked with illegally carrying a
weapon during the June 27 traffic stop.
