Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco and Louisiana Economic Development Secretary Michael Olivier attend the launch of the Space Shuttle Endeavour at the John F. Kennedy Space Center, Fla. STS-118: Endeavor's mission is the 22nd shuttle flight to the International Space Station. Among the STS-118 crew members is Mission Specialist Barbara Morgan, the teacher-turned-astronaut selected as the backup candidate for the NASA Teacher in Space Program, training under Christa McAuliffe and the Challenger crew more than 20 years ago.
