Laurie:

I am glad to hear of your personal knowledge of Mr. Boasso's generorsity to
his employees. My vote, however, must be based on his accomplishments as an
elected official. Outside of changing from the Republican party to become a
democrat (which I care less about since I vote for the person), the majority
of the "issues" Mr. Boasso has presented address the alliance between Jindal
and President Bush. When my family and I were displaced for seven months
after Katrina hit St. Bernard, I contacted every person/avenue I could
conceive to obtain information. David Vitter's office consistantly and
quickly promoted information and helped retrive duplicate social security
and medical records which we needed. Mr. Boasso nor Senator Landrieu ever
returned a call nor email. I know they were busy, but so was Sen. Vitter.
If Mr. Boasso wants my vote again, he needs to stop the negative
adverstisements and start spelling out his plans for the state, for St
Bernard, and how these plans will be funded. If not, I will take it for
what it is - saying what people want to hear in order to get their vote.
