New Orleans property assessment appeals are now moving to the review stage.
The New Orleans Tax Appeals website discusses the next steps in the appeals

FEMA Ends Debris Pickup Program

FEMA has not extended reimbursement of debris pickup for the City of New
Orleans. Therefore, owners of properties being gutted, repaired, or
constructed are now responsible for debris disposal. Debris can no longer be
placed curbside for pickup through the city.

Debris can be taken to a drop off site at 2829 Elysian Fields for free until
September 30th. After September 30th, debris may be dropped off for a fee at
the Gentilly C&D Landfill on the East Bank or River Birch Landfill in
