What I am a little curious about is the lady says either a couple or a few
weeks went by and she knew nothing about her brother's situation. Can you
guess what I am about to ask next? How often did she go to visit her
brother? How often did she ever call her brother or the medical facility to
check in on him.

My wife is a lovely person but even she admits to being a little on the
dense side, yet she picked up on this immediately. As my wife put it, even
if I lived out of state, which the lady does not, I would be calling the
nursing home every other day to speak with my brother or speak with the
staff on his status. She basically admits to not checking it on her brother
for long periods of time. Seems like she really didn't care much about her
brother either.

Did anyone else pick up on this?

John

could they have at least called the man's family to come pick him up????
that is the moral to this story
