Mr. Doody,

Thanks for your message. You say former residents still registered in St.
Bernard who have not changed their voter registration to another location
may still vote in St. Bernard "in this election".
How long will this continue to be allowed?

-----Original Message-----
Former residents still registered to vote in St. Bernard Parish may do
so in this election, as long as they have not changed their voter
registration to another location. This is true even if they take a
homestead exemption somewhere else. I have called the Secretary of State's
office to verify this fact. If you have any doubt, please call them at
225-922-0900. Please exercise your right to vote. If you wish to vote in
St. Bernard, you may, asl long as you don't change your voter registration
to another parish/state. Sorry if this is a repeat of any information
previously posted.
