"****On Tuesday, Blanco met with members of Louisiana's congressional
delegation, House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., and the House
Democratic Caucus to ask for help with The Road Home. Also in the meetings
with Blanco were New Orleans Mayor C. Ray Nagin, city recovery director Ed
Blakely and others.*******-AP"

Where is JR on this important issue to St. Bernard parish victims? If he
didn't accompany the governor to ask for more money, it's a clear sign that
the government of St. Bernard Parish should consider a new President this
election day. We don't care if he hasn't been invited to attend. What da
parish needs is an outspoken President who could speak for the parish
victims in their stead. JR has no problem speaking for his pet project, MRGO
or bashing his opponents in the printed word. That's fine as we can expect
dis and dat. Firstly, da people need recovery. THEN, it needs
infrastructure--in dat order. Election day is Saturday. Please make your
vote count for someone with the energy to see St. Bernard Parish rise from
the ashes. Da Parish does not need a slovenly, inept, non-effective
president. It needs one to work with the council, da people and state and
federal governmental agencies in these days of turmoil and uncertainty
regarding da parish. Vote, but do so with respect, conviction, and thought
as to WHO will rebuilt which is so broken.
