Wendy,

I wasn't making reference to her drug problem, which I undersood was
medicinal. I was just jumping on Westley's bandwagon in poking some
intended harmless fun at her general appearance. It's Westley's fault - he
started it! :-)

John,

Now I don't know about anyone else, but since this hurricane, I look
like hell. Katrina did me no favors. We also don't know how many years it
has been....time is not always kind and how much weight did she gain after
getting off the drugs.
But all kidding aside, many keep menntioning her "drug" past, please
remember she stated it was pharmaceutical, not recreational. I know many
want to know the difference. WHat many people don't realize in the late 80's
and into the 90's doctors were quick to prescribe pills for pain instead of
doing things to make the pain managable, hence why St. Bernard had the
oxycodone problem. I take offense to people's labeling only because I had a
sister-in-law who died as a result of this problem. She never did drugs,
never wanted drugs until two car accidents later, she needed them. Once on
them and her body became tolerant, she was prescribed stronger drugs. This
went on for 4 years, with no help to wean her off of them. The docs just
kept writing the scripts until she ODed. I don't consider these "addicts"
the same as those who drive around looking for crack or cocaine. These
people went legitamitely to doctors for help only to be made into addicts.
Don't get me wrong, some people go to doctors to fed their addictions, but
that's not the same. Well, that's my two cents anyway.

Wendy
