Would the planning commission get involved in the following issue:
 
Adopt resolution expressing no objection to LA Land Trust, LLC allowing
properties in the Murphy Oil buyout area to be transferred directly to
Murphy Oil USA contingent upon no domiciled neighbor expressing an interest
in purchasing said property.
 
This was on the agenda for the recent ST. BERNARD PARISH HOUSING,
REDEVELOPMENT
& QUALITY OF LIFE AUTHORITY COMMISSION held on Friday, December 7, 2007 8:30
a.m. Council Office Trailer Page 
 
IMO the LRA properties should be first offered to the residents, then to any
project that benefits the quality of life of the neighborhood (urban park,
green space, etc), then to developers who commit to rebuilding on larger
lots and houses of equal or larger sizes, then lastly, local industry.
