The Claiborne Ave Bridge needs minor repairs before it can be raised again.
The new date for the morning raising for the ship will be on  Saturday,
December 29.  

 
Therefore, tomorrow's opening has been called off and will be attempted on
Saturday, in hopes that the necessary repairs can be successfully completed
tomorrow.
