Let's be honest about this crime in St. Bernard Parish:

It wasn't about lust, nor greed, nor a girlfriend, nor dope, nor insurance,
nor any other reason but because he was seen in his back yard and someone
wanted what he had to give them in their quest for robber or theft.

Be careful, my children. Remember the biblical saying, "like a thief in da
night"? 

Beaten to death. And, it well could have been stabbed, shot or choked, but
the outcome is still da same. He was brutally murdered because he lived in
our area and someone was there do do the dastardly deed.

God rest Mr. Ruiz's soul.
