Road Home Policy Change


As a result of the continuing work of the volunteer group Citizens' Road
Home Action Team (CHAT) together with LRA and State officials, The Road Home
recently made two important policy changes that will benefit applicants. One
new policy allows applicants to get written copies all file information
pertaining to your applications including a report of what might be holding
up your grant and details about any dispute resolution decisions. The other
new policy allows for certified independent home appraisal to be considered
in the review procedure for possible inclusion in the grant calculation. 

CHAT wants to make sure applicants are aware of these policy changes and
that the policy changes are being followed. Find out more about the changes
