BENEFIT FOR CANCER PATIENT 

A fund-raiser will be held for lifelong St. Bernard Parish resident George
Wale on Sunday beginning at 10 a.m. at Brad's Bar, 2029 Paris Road,
Chalmette. 

Wale, 53, is battling lung cancer. 

The event will include food, raffles, a dart tournament at noon and music by
the Brad Sapia band from 2 to 5 p.m. 

Monetary donations can be made in Wale's name at Gulf Coast Bank & Trust
Co., 8216 W. Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette.
