MARDI GRAS BEADS 

Jimmy's Kids, a group for mentally and physically challenged children and
adults, will ride in St. Bernard Parish's two Carnival parades this season,
the Krewe of Gladiators on Jan. 26 at 1:30 p.m. and the Knights of Nemesis
on Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. 

Jimmy Besson, organizer of the group, is collecting beads and other parade
throws for his members. 

Donated beads can be dropped off at the Jimmy's Kids Home, 1201 Camille
Place, Chalmette. 

Monetary donations also are needed and can be brought to Gulf Coast Bank &
Trust Co., 8216 W. Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette.
