[StBernard] Parade Cleanup

What a great job of cleaning up immediately after the two parades in SBP!
No more days of parade waste, discarded beads, food, etc. flowing out of
cans and wasting in the streets. Whether it was paid for by the krewes or
the parish, or both, it was immediate and thorough. Getting DOTD sweepers
out there was another good idea. I have never before seen DOTD sweepers on
the state highways in SBP, but they were there after the parades. Areas
looks cleaner than before.

With regards to upcoming Italian/Irish/Islenos parade.  There always seems
to be such an over abundance of wasted food left on the ground. With so many
in the parish who could use the vegetables, perhaps there could be some
outreach to the public to catch all they can and bring to one or more of the
charitable groups so that they can make it available to anyone in need.
There's only so much a family can eat and after that people stop catching
the vegetables because they don't need any more, they could continue to
catch for those who could not come.

Perhaps some group can offer the public to bring their leftover catches of
vegetables to their place the day or so after the parade and invite anyone
who needs free vegetables to come get some.If there are still leftovers, I'm
sure a local food bank or soup kitchen would gladly take them.  ddk
