final inspection but they can fill out an appeal for peace of mind

I am living out of town at the present and am looking at the Z list link.
My parent home is on this list which is clearly in error.  I spoke to them
over the weekend and they have already placed furniture in the house.  Which
means they are already living in it or they are waiting on the rest of the
furniture to arrive before they can get out of that FEMA trailer.
Are any follow ups or verification going to be done by whomever placed the
homes on the list before condemning or demolitions begin? Or are they just
taking words of citizens and the like?
One of my parents was very recently diagnosed with cancer and I would like
to know correct information to tell them in order to correct this error.
With finding out an illness in the last few days and now this. wow.  What
wonderful news I have to pass on.  That the home they have completed or are
about to complete is on this list.  I don't even think they are aware of
this list or action would have already been taken on their part to correct
this mess.
 
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
