I see kids playing in empty lots, sometimes with pipes etc sticking out of
slabs. Once I saw a group using a tilted fence, laying against a house, as a
spring ramp to get upon the roof. Seems dangerous to me (or am I just
getting old? ) 
 
It would be nice to have some empty lots for small park like spaces, a
bench, maybe a swing or some other thing to play on, possibly supported and
maintained by neighborhoods. (I dream)
