Jim -- good points.  was not trying to get a census nor a voter poll, but
rather a picture of the future and where the future population maybe now.
of course, this would change with redevelopment of housing/subdivisions in
the western part of the parish, however, my quess is that the majority of
our children presently reside in the eastern part of our parish.   being one
supportive of a separate public library and another grocery store and other
such keystones to our community, would like to know where the majority of
our current school population resides.

Not sure that would give an accurate count either SJK.  You have singles,
elderly and those who are not educating children in the public school system
who would be overlooked as far as getting a tally of current population.  It
would show a head-count of students but how would you get any other
information?
