2 Postal Facilities to Open In St. Bernard

U.S. Postal Service announces late summer openings of offices in Arabi and
Meraux/Violet
Tuesday, July 8, 2008
By the end of the summer, 2 more postal facilities will be open in St.
Bernard Parish to serve residents of Arabi and the Meraux and Violet areas.
It will bring the number of post offices in the parish to 4.

Parish President Craig Taffaro calls it an important step in the parish's
recovery.

Scheduled for reopening are the Arabi Post Office at 748 Mehle Street and
the the postal facility in Meraux at 4217 E. Judge Perez Drive.
