Lot Next Door Program


The Lot Next Door (LND) program, managed by the New Orleans Redevelopment
Authority(NORA), allows residents to purchase a NORA-owned property
(including Road Home properties sold to the state) immediately next door to
their own. Letters have been mailed to all eligible homeowners. Find out

Project Home Again - Gentilly


Project Home Again will be building homes in New Orleans for people who lost
their homes as a result of Katrina. These homes are being offered at no cost
to eligible families who are willing to swap their damaged homes or vacant
lots in Gentilly which will then be used to build homes for other families
in the community. The last day to submit applications is August 21. Find out

Free Prenatal Care 


The Mom & Baby Mobile Health Center offers free health assistance to anyone
who is pregnant and needs prenatal care. The mobile van is parked at the
Dollar General Store adjacent to the Community Center of St. Bernard (1107
LeBeau St. in Arabi) every Tuesday from 9:30AM - 4PM. Find out more in our
