[StBernard] st lights & other

How do we go about getting street lights fixed? I have reported them to
Entergy and to the parish. The lights are alum so they are parish owned. I
have called the parish about 5 times in the last month. I live in the 3300
blk of Veronica and none of the st lights work in the 3000 blk or the 3100
or the 3200 blk. Its very dark at night.

also there is a house across the street from me that has been empty since we
bought our home in 1993 and its still untouched since the storm. The parish
has been putting notices and all that good stuff on it but how long does the
process take to get this house torn down? I was told that since she did not
go thru the road home or request it to be demolished it has to go thru the
legal process which i understand but the parish already had a bunch of leins
on the home before the hurricane that they probably own it already.

Also the house behind me has a pool that has been untouched since the
hurricane and probably still has oil in it from the refinery. What is the
parish doing about the owners of the pools? The house is gutted and the
property has been kept up except for the pool. Its been 3 years almost and I
understand it takes time but this is a pool with muck still in it.

Any help in any of these matters would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Veronica Dr Resident
