Road Home to hold Community Outreach Session in New Orleans


BATON ROUGE, La. (August 7, 2008) - The Road Home program will hold a community outreach session in New Orleans on Saturday, August 9 to assist applicants affected by upcoming deadlines in the program.

During the community outreach session applicants can turn in documents, complete benefit selection forms and ask questions directly of program staff, without scheduling an appointment, on a first-come, first-served basis. 

WHAT: Road Home Outreach Session

WHEN: Saturday, August 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WHERE: UNO Lindy Boggs Conference Center, 2045 Lakeshore Drive, New Orleans, LA 70122

In addition to this event, the Road Home will host outreach sessions across south Louisiana during the month of August. Applicants should watch the newspaper for announcements of dates, locations and times for these outreach events. The Road Home will also send reminder post cards with information about outreach events.
