I agree. Some who write history have their own agenda, and we all should be
careful when reading from some authors.
The founders looked to God for their inspiration when they formed this
nation. They drew a lot of their strength from faith in him. Just in
signing the Declaration of Independence, they knew they were risking their
lives, but I also believe that they knew their purpose was greater than even
their own lives. Some may have had their imperfections and varying degrees
of faith, but just to read what they wrote, and to see how God was always
foremost in their minds as they each completed their part of founding the
greatest nation on earth, it takes a lot of spin to say that they were not
really religious men. I believe they were men of great faith and integrity.
