VITTER AT CHAMBER LUNCHEON

The St. Tammany West Chamber will hold a special luncheon on Sept. 3 to
recognize the third anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Sen. David Vitter will
be the featured speaker and will discuss the ongoing federal recovery
assistance.

Before his service in the U.S. Senate, Vitter represented the First
Congressional District of Louisiana from 1999 to 2004.

For the past two years, the chamber has held a Katrina remembrance event.
This year, they have combined this event with the monthly luncheon, which
will take place at Benedict's Plantation.

Businesses that have relocated to St. Tammany, particularly those from St.
Bernard Parish, will receive a special invitation. Special guest will be
Walter Leger, Louisiana Recover Authority Housing Task Force Chairman and
longtime St. Bernard resident.

Doors open for registration at 11:30 a.m., with the program starting at
noon. Cost to attend the luncheon is $25 for members; $30 for nonmembers.

Seating is limited. Reservations are required. Call 892.3216, ext. 2, or
make your reservation through the Calendar Page at www.sttammanychamber.org.
