I guess pity the poor parents who may be still stuck somewhere due to
Entergy not restoring power to the parish yet.  What do the parents do if
they don't wish to subject their children to homes w/out lights or ac?  If a
parent elects to keep family in some degree of comfort, will absences count
against the child?

Brilliant thinking there; lots of foresight and thought about something
*other* than the school.
