ST. BERNARD BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WOMEN'S CLUB ANNOUNCED 48TH ANNUAL
MAN AND WOMAN OF THE YEAR

The 48th Man and Woman of the Year for St. Bernard Parish have been
named by the members of the St. Bernard Business and Professional
Women’s Club. Honorees are Bonnie Pepper Cook and Wayne Warner.

“We are excited about returning to the newly renovated St. Bernard
Civic Center again,” said club president, Deborah Keller. Instead of a
banquet, the club will host a gala reception and awards presentation.
The reception will feature a dinner buffet.

The gala will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
in the Ballroom at 8245 West Judge Perez Drive in Chalmette. Tickets are
$25 per person and must be purchased in advance. Tickets will be sold at
Balli Gallery payable only by check to St.Bernard BPW.   Anyone unable
to obtain tickets from Balli Gallery by 3 p.m. Saturday, October 19, can
contact club treasurer, Suzanne Sweeney, at 504-276-5273 to make
alternate arrangements for tickets.  Balli Gallery is open 11 a.m. to 6
p.m. Tuesday thru Saturday.
