Organizations Helping With Rebuilding, Rental Assistance And Relocation For
The Displaced


Sweet Home New Orleans is a non-profit agency that offers rental, house
renovation and relocation assistance as well as other social services to the
city's musicians, Mardi Gras Indians, and Social Aid & Pleasure Club
members. 

Camp Restore is helping homeowners rebuild their homes with volunteer labor
and free or low cost building materials. No criteria, anyone can apply, but
priority is given to seniors, disabled, single parent households. There is a
waiting list. 

Southern Mutual Help is now helping homeowners in Lafitte Parish rebuild
their storm damaged homes. No funding available, volunteer labor only.
Homeowner must provide rebuilding materials.

Road Home Assistance at the Rebuilding Information Station


Representatives of the Road Home will be available for consultation with
homeowners on Fridays between the hours of 9 am and 1 pm at the Rebuilding
Information Station. Stop by to discuss the status of your Road Home

Low-cost Veterinary Services


The LASPCA offers affordable veterinary services including low-cost spaying
and neutering, vaccinations and affordable microchipping. Everyone is
eligible for this low cost option and no voucher is required. Get more
