[StBernard] Anyone listening to market experts lately?

Has anyone been listening or watching the financial news-talk shows on the
various cable channels and radio?  With the markets continuing to drop,
they've been interviewing market experts from around the world.  When asked
what's causing the latest panic, they all have the same consistent answer:
they fear Barack Obama is going to win the U.S. Presidency.  This has been
on CNN, MSNBC, FOX, all of them.
 
But wait a second....I thought an Obama victory would sound the trumpets to
a quick economic recovery.  Well, not according to what I've been hearing
over the past few days.  In fact, one spokesman from the European Economic
Community said "wait till you see what happens (in the market) the day after
the election" (Nov. 5th).  One market expert said immediately after an Obama
win, look for the entire world to plunge into a "world recession."
 
Folks, knowing this, I can only equate voting for Obama like him handing you
a gun and bullets, but it's you who is loading the bullets in the chamber
and pulling the trigger, right after putting the gun up against you head.
 
My financial advisor is telling me to pull my money out of the market and
put it into gold to play it safe for a while.  I know gold has been doing
very well lately and would do even better if the markets keep dropping.
It's no wonder I'm hearing rumors that advisors close to Obama are telling
him as President he might want to go back to the old laws where private
citizens can no longer own gold - only the U.S. government.  That would be
the final solution to Obama installing Socialism in America.
 
"Change," oh for certain - if Obama holds on, that's exactly what we're
going to get.  And rest assured, it won't be the kind of change everyone is
thinking.  But I don't know why that should come as a real surprise to
anyone.  After all, Obama's been telling people he is going to implement
socialism principles into our government.
 
Remember, if you sign your name in blood on the dotted line with devil
giving him your soul, don't act so surprise when he one day comes to collect
for it.....you knew what you were getting into.
 
It's not too late to vote for McCain.  Think about your 401K, your pension,
IRA.

P.S.  Did you hear the latest today (10/24/08), there were a couple of
Democratc Party Congressmen saying under the Obama presidency, they are
going to introduce a bill that will no longer make your contributions to
your IRA or 401K pre-tax.  They were talking about how many billions of
dollars annually in additional revenue that could create for Obama's
spending programs.  Here it comes folks....you want change!!!
