Port Announces Bridge Closures

The Port of New Orleans is scheduled to close the St. Claude Ave. Bridge on
Tuesday and Wednesday (Oct. 28 & 29) to perform maintenance and repairs to
overhead handrails and platforms between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The Port scheduled the work at this time to take advantage of the closure of
the Inner Harbor Naviagtion Canal Lock.

Motorists transiting the Industrial Canal Tuesday and Wednesday are urged to
use the Judge Seeber-Caliborne Ave. Bridge, which DOTD has not scheduled any
maintenance for on those days.
