A friend of mine asked me today "if Obama wins, how is it that such a
mediocre candidate could win the White House?"  I shook my head and told him
I'm still trying to figure out how such a mediocre team like the Phillies
won the World Series.
 
Who knows, this might be the Chinese year of mediocrity.
