[StBernard] More a realist than a radical

"...If Obama governs as his actions so far suggest, 2010 - the mid-term
congressional elections - will likely prove to be another banner year for
Democrats, cementing what some whisper could become the permanent Democratic
majority."

What a bunch of crap. Not a chance. Why not? Human nature - or in this
case, political nature. Each creature is what it is - it can't change
itself. The very appointment of Rahm Emanuel proves Obama is intent on
moving to the extreme left, not centrist. It is not in the nature of any
creature to act differently than what its nature calls for. So, this
journalistic idiot is fooling himself if he thinks Emanuel is going to act
in a centrist mode when his personality, nature and (most importantly)
history clearly shows otherwise. In suit, the Democratic party will act the
same. Emanual is NOT an "olive branch" kind of guy, but that's precisely
what the role of White House Chief of Staff calls for. The White House COS
needs to be a palable person...Emanuel is not that, not by a mile. The is
the same guy who recently said "all Republicans can go f@#k themselves.
Yeah, I can just see the olive branches growing out of this liberal nutcase.

Not renewing the Bush tax cuts, doubling the capital gains tax, abolishing
the "pre-tax" contribution made to your individual retirement plan
(401Ks)...yeah, that sounds like a centrist ideology alright, but that's
precisely what is being talked about among Democratic members of Congress as
I type this.

When are these idiots ever going to open a history book and learn from this
nation's past mistakes. Doing what Obama and the Democrats are planning is
precisely what caused the Great Depression of the 1930's - taxing a burdened
economy even more. They only need to open a history book to learn.

I'm telling you...hold on to your dollars and buy gold.
