One month ago, I wrote to ask for your help in voting for Liz McCartney in
the CNN Hero award. I appreciate your support so far. You may recall that
Liz is a founder of The St. Bernard Project, an organization that so far is
responsible for rebuilding 151 homes in St. Bernard Parish at NO COST to the
homeowner. I've personally been working with the group for over a year now
and am constantly impressed with what they have done and what they are
continuing to do.

We're now in the final 9 days of the contest and I'd like you to consider
helping once more. The rules allow you to vote as many times as you wish.
If you go to this website http://heroes.cnn.com/vote.asp?heroID=6, it
directs you to the page where you can vote for Liz. After voting, simply
click the "Back" button on your browser and it'll let you vote again. I
voted 20 times this morning and it took less than 3 minutes.

Please consider voting at least 10 times a day for Liz. It will take you
less than 3 minutes. There are more than 3 minutes of commercials in a 30
minute TV show. To remind you, you could temporarily set the page as your
home page in your browser. That way, you'll be reminded to vote whenever
you get on the internet.

Also please consider passing this along to your friends. It's not too
difficult to click that Forward button, now is it?

If Liz can win this contest, she'll win $100,000 which will be used to put
10 more families back into their Katrina stricken homes in St. Bernard
Parish. Perhaps more importantly, it will give St. Bernard and the New
Orleans region much needed publicity that will inspire the country to
continue its support of our region. We have to get the word out that
there's still plenty of fixing left to do.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Paul V. Perez
