[StBernard] Filming to affect traffic on St. Bernard Highway Monday

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS IN CHALMETTE ON ST. BERNARD HIGHWAY MONDAY DUE TO MOVIE
FILMING




There will be some traffic restrictions due to movie filming in Chalmette on
Monday, Nov. 24. The filming location is St. Bernard Auto Repairs "Tire
Shop" at 8429 W. St. Bernard Hwy. at Congressman Hebert in Chalmette.

Officials will shut down the right westbound lane in front of the tire shop
from Chalmette Avenue to Packenham Ave. from around 6 to 7 a.m. to late
afternoon.

In addition, there will be intermittent traffic control of all four lanes
during filming for sound issues.

The eastbound right lane may close in the same stretch if the camera moves
across the highway for a wide shot along with the westbound right lane for
safety for talent positioning.

There will be lock-ups by sheriff's deputies at Packenham Avenue, Chalmette
Avenue, Congressman Hebert and possibly Jean Lafitte depending on the
traffic.
