Which parish is this SDT recycling for and how much is this going to cost us
directly or as part of our parishes' contract for household garbage pickup?

In Orleans Parish PreKatrina, it was not a voluntary cost.  It was a
mandatory $15 per month fee added on the water bill, whether you
participated or not.

We all need to reduce what we send to the landfill and recycling is a great
way to respect the earth and the resources we use.
